John 14:27
27 “Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.”

[ח] Chet or het = fence, pronounced like a gutteral “k.” Something can be fenced in or fenced out.
[ד] Dalet = door

When you are afraid, what’s the natural human response? To fence yourself off, sit down, and/or withdraw from others. You might even curl up in a ball. At any rate, you are certainly not motivated to confess God’s positive word, so “FEAR” to God means:
“You have fenced off the ‘door’ of your mouth.” That is what God says causes you to fear.

Remember what the Angel said to John in Revelation 22:9? He told him not to “Worship him.” He said, “Fear not,” and said, “Worship (fear) only God.”
