1 John 1:5-7
“This is the message which we have heard from Him (Jesus) and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all. If we say that we have fellowship with Him, and walk in darkness, we lie and do not practice the truth. But if we walk in the light as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanses us from all sin.”
Not for nothing, there are human consequences for our actions, whether good and bad; BUT…..they are not punishment from God for any disobedience, i.e.. a “door” or “window” you somehow opened.

While it’s true that you can get yourself into trouble by making bad choices, any punishment you receive isn’t from God. It is simply a consequence of your choice. HOWEVER: You never fall out of favor with God.
If anything you did or said could cause you to lose your salvation, then it can’t be ETERNAL life, as voiced by Jesus Himself in John 3. I think we should believe Jesus. He can’t lie! 😄
We are children of Light and of the Day. Once you come to faith in Jesus, you now have a Friend Who not only sticks closer than a brother: He lives IN you!
Remember, The Holy Spirit, being God, cannot abide in the presence of sin. He can live IN you because your spirit has been permanently cleansed of ALL sin. God never has to make “House calls” because He NEVER LEAVES the “House,” and He doesn’t come and go like some revolving door every time you fail. If that were true, He’d never stay! 😲 So, even when you occasionally sin, you never fall out of fellowship with Him or end up in “Darkness:” You are ALWAYS in the Light! 🥰🙌🏻 As He IS, so are we IN THIS WORLD.
Once we accept Jesus as our Savior and the Holy Spirit lives on the INside, He doesn’t come and go as if there were some revolving door. He NEVER leaves or forsakes us: NEVER. To read more on that topic, you may follow the link below:
There are others in the body of Christ who blame the devil for everything. The devil did this, the devil did that, giving him WAY MORE CREDIT and attention than he deserves. He loves it. 😡. C’mon church: HIS HEAD WAS CRUSHED BY JESUS AT THE CROSS!!! HE’S DEFEATED!!! Our fight isn’t with him anyway. Our fight is to remain in faith; to believe that we are the righteousness of God in Christ! Jesus is your Door. NOTHING AND NO ONE CAN GET PAST HIM.
“14 In righteousness YOU SHALL BE ESTABLISHED; You shall be far from oppression, for you shall not fear; And from terror, for it shall not come near you.
15 Indeed they shall surely assemble, but not because of Me. Whoever assembles against you shall fall for your sake.”
