God’s Definition Of Sick: Chalah [חָלָ֖ה] In The Hebrew Letters.

Everywhere He went, Jesus preached the gospel and healed ALL who came to Him for healing.  There is no record that He ever, EVER, made anyone sick to teach them a lesson….EVER.  His Father–Our Father–has provided us with everything we need for our life in this world, including how to walk in divine health, something that will become increasingly important in these last days.

Herein is the greatest secret to that Divine health:  Partaking of Holy Communion often: Daily, even several times a day, like medicine as long as we are careful to partake in a worthy manner.  In other words, discern the Lord’s body correctly.  What does that mean?

Jesus’ body was broken so that ours could be made whole.  This must be differentiated from His blood, which cleansed us from every sin, past, present, and future, and made us forever right with God.  Take it as if it were your medication.  It is better than the best medicine on the planet! 

You and I, Church, stand before God completely clean because of the blood.   That is the only way we can receive anything, or more to the point, EVERYTHING from Him. This fact is also of utmost importance to understand.

Secrets In The Hebrew Language.

Now, it’s one thing to know the definition of a word; but quite another to know God’s thoughts on a particular subject or how He defines it.  There are clues in the Hebrew language itself as to how God views health and sickness in the Hebrew word for “Sick.”  The individual letters are very enlightening.  Let’s check ‘em out!

This is the word, “sick,” in Hebrew:
(חלה): Chalah

Hebrew reads from right to left and is a form of picture writing, like Chinese.  The pictures God uses to form words give us a window on His perspective.  These pictures are very consistent.

The meaning of each letter of the word are as follows:
(ח)  Chet (like a guttural “K”) or het.
(ל)  Lamed
(ה)  Hei

The letter,”Chet (ח),” is a picture of a “Fence.” It can mean someone or something is fenced in or fenced out. “Lamed (ל)” is a picture of an ox goad. It means “learning.”  The ox goad was used to teach” the ox what to do and where to go. “Hei (ה)” is a picture of an open window.  God opens the windows of heaven to pour out His grace, therefore “Hei” means “grace.”  It is also the number “5,” which is why we say “5 is the number of grace.”
